Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Collins (born in Mexico) is an Mexican American sportscaster. She is an ESPN news anchor and hosts SportsNation occasionally. The first time she worked for ESPN in the year 2016. She is the child of the journalist on television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins has been a bilingual since she was nine years old, a valuable talent that enabled her to get her first position in the production department with Univision in Miami which provided her with the opportunity to work with the producers of national shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. Her first job was as a reporter for The CBS St. Petersburg affiliate after that. Then she moved to Rio Grande Valley in 2009 to work as a reporter on KNVO TV 48 Univision. Spanish channels KNVO TV 48 Univision, as well as Fox2 News. Reporting on stories on the trafficking of drugs and immigration across the border of Mexico and Texas. Border, she served as a news reporter on KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel KNVO TV48 at 5 pm. She was a news reporter with a news anchor in English for 9 pm, then a news anchor for 10pm before returning back to KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel. Also, she was a substitute for sports anchors and weather forecasters. Deportes 23 in Dallas, Univision's affiliate station in Dallas. She was also given more duties. She did pieces on MLB's ALDS ALCS and World Series the Dallas Cowboys the NBA postseason and the NBA Finals FC Dallas and the Dallas Stars. She also produced Univision 23's local sports channel Accion Deportiva Extra, on where she was anchor. Then, she became the sports host on the morning show that is Despierta America Deportes. She also served as anchor of the sports segment for Primer Impacto, a magazine program on the UniMas Network and Contacto Deportivo. Antonietta Collin's parents originally hail from Veracruz Mexico. At some point they moved to Mexico City where she was born on 22 November 1985. There is a sister. The family moved in 1992 to Mexico for the US and settled in Miami. In the course of a few months, her father separated from her mother. She then remarried in 1995 a naval architect whose name was Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away of kidney carcinoma in the year 2006. The couple stayed at Canton Ohio with her older sister in the summertime, where she had been offered a job. Antonietta was an incoming senior in high school and had a very clear vision of her goals for the future. She went to Mount Union University to determine if they suited her. It was an amazing campus. They also offered her the major that she desired. After finishing high school, she decided to enroll at the university and major with Media Studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor and also the head of WRMU in which she's a member. They had a very close friendship. The professor encouraged her to believe in herself and was greatly moved by his enthusiasm for journalism.
